Income

Income refers to any transaction that adds money to the clinic.

When you add a progress note, it is automatically added as an income because the amount paid by the patient adds money to the clinic.

How to add an income?

Adding an income transaction in our app is very easy. Just click the "Add Income" in the finance section.

Add Income

A popup will appear once you click "add income" and that is where you will put the following transaction details:

  • PATIENT - Name of the patient

  • DATE - Date of the transaction

  • ASSIGNED DENTIST - Dentist assigned on the procedure

  • CATEGORY - Category of the Procedure

  • PROCEDURE - Name of the Procedure

  • REMARKS - Description of the Procedure

  • PAYMENT DETAILS

    • ACCOUNT - Account where you receive the payment.

    • COST - Amount of the procedure done.

    • DISCOUNT - Amount you discount to the procedure.

    • TOTAL AMOUNT DUE - Amount needed to be paid by the patient.

    • AMOUNT PAID - Amount paid by the patient.

TIP: You can group related progress notes or income by clicking the checkbox "This is linked under an existing progress note" and selecting the "Parent Progress Note".

"Parent Progress Note" - This is where the progress note is linked under.
